What is ZEVA?
ZEVA (Zero Emission Vehicle Analytics) is a cloud-based telematics platform that offers Tesla drivers real-time data, insights, and tools to manage their vehicle’s performance, costs, and value. From battery and charging insights, to vehicle monitoring and controls, ZEVA delivers the information that matters most to users, in an easy-to-understand format. Available on browser, iOS, and Android devices, with no hardware or software installation required, ZEVA allows both individual Tesla drivers and fleet managers to manage one or multiple vehicles, from a single interface, anywhere in the world.
How does it work?
ZEVA is a cloud-based telematics platform. This means that once a vehicle has been connected, ZEVA creates a secure connection via Tesla’s API to retrieve your vehicle’s unique data, which ZEVA then interprets and displays in an easy-to-understand format. No hardware or software installation is required, data is updated in near-real time, and the entire process is backed by Tesla’s strict security protocols.

At this time, ZEVA is proud to support Tesla drivers and fleets in optimizing their vehicles’ performance, costs, and value. We are excited about our plans to broaden our service to include additional electric vehicle manufacturers in the near future. Where is ZEVA available?
Currently available in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia, ZEVA is on target to become globally accessible in 2024. Why is no data available for certain elements?
Tesla does not offer access to historical data, which means ZEVA can only analyze data collected after your vehicle connects to our platform. Consequently, while some data and features become instantly accessible, others will update based upon vehicle usage and may require up to seven days before the data is visible.
Should you encounter any issues accessing your data after your vehicle has been connected to ZEVA for more than seven days, please reach out to our support team. We are here to assist and will gladly investigate the matter for you.
What if I still have questions?
How do I delete my ZEVA account?
- Log in to your ZEVA account.
- Navigate to the Admin > Profile section.
- Under Manage Account, select Delete Account.
- Option 1: Schedule Account Deletion – This will schedule your account deletion for the end of your current billing cycle. All your records and associated data will be permanently deleted after that.
- Option 2: Delete Immediately – This will permanently delete all your records and associated data immediately.
Drivers
How do I sign up?
Sign ups can be made at app.zevaglobal.com or within our mobile app, available for both iOS and Android devices.
As a Tesla-approved third-party app, ZEVA first registers your account through Single Sign-On (SSO) using your Tesla credentials – simply click the “Sign Up with Tesla” button to get started. It is a quick and easy way to connect your vehicle(s) to ZEVA.
The app will then take you through a step-by-step process to complete your registration and ZEVA account setup.
Once subscribed, you will be able to access both the web and mobile apps regardless of where you first signed up.
Can I sign up on ZEVA’s mobile app?
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes, ZEVA for Drivers subscriptions can be canceled at any time.
After cancellation, you will still have access to your account until the end of your current billing period, after which you can no longer access your account until you re-subscribe to ZEVA.
What if my vehicle has more than one driver?
If a vehicle is shared by multiple drivers, each driver can create a separate ZEVA account using their unique Tesla credentials.
Alternatively, each driver can stay connected to the vehicle by logging into a single ZEVA account. For an optimal experience, we recommend creating a ZEVA account using the primary Tesla account holder’s credentials. There is no limit to the number of users or devices that can access a ZEVA account.
How do I delete my account on the ZEVA mobile app?
To delete your account from the ZEVA mobile app, please follow these steps:
- Log in to your ZEVA account.
- Navigate to the Account section.
- Under Settings, select Delete Account.
Once you select Delete Account, you will have two options:
- Option 1: Schedule Account Deletion – This schedules your account deletion to take effect after 7 days. After this period, all your data and associated records will be permanently removed.
- Option 2: Delete Immediately – This will permanently delete all your records and associated data immediately.
Once your account is deleted, this action cannot be undone.
Fleets
How do I sign up my fleet?
Can I cancel my fleet’s subscription at any time?
Cancelations of ZEVA for Fleets subscriptions are subject to the terms of your contract. Should you consider canceling, please contact your dedicated ZEVA team member for assistance.
